BG95-M3 pin PON_TRIG

What will happen if I connect the PON_TRIG pin of BG95-M3 to GND?
Will I be able to work with the module then?
Won’t it still reset or something like that?

according to the datasheet PON_TRIG is pulled down to GND by default. So I would not expect any difference in module behavior if you connect PON_TRIG to GND, but it seems to be unnecessary.

Yes, it is my understanding that if PON_TRIG is left alone (using the internal pull-down) that the module works normally and should not reset.
