Where is my IoT device?
-
To get an location of an IoT device we currently use GPS. This gives us an accuracy of about 5 - 10 meters. In some cases, and currently we are working on a few of them, an accurate position is not necessary. I’m not an engineer but I would like to know how to get the position of a sensor. Similar to “where is my iPhone”.

@pieterhoenderken NB-IoT supports geo-localisation based on the network itself. At this moment only cell-ID can be used, accuracy of course depends on the cell density. As of release 14, NB-IoT will also support triangulation which is much more accurate (<100mtr). Don’t know what’s currently and will be supported by T-Mobile NL.
