@Crowdsourcer Power usage on the arduino do not seem to be high on the design list with the mkr devices it seems

Delete subscriptions via api
I seem to have double resource and lifecycle subscriptions for my device. I tried to delete them via postman but the api in the postman flie seems incomplete and does not work wharis the correct request and request body

RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Crowdsourcer I guess I was unclear I do the following:
- close udpsocket
- do a ATPWROFF to turn off Sara
- modem power down.
I havent measured yet but with the MKRFOX1200 we had a sleep current around 100 uA but this seemed to be very device specific some were 80 uA others 120 uA. I would expect somithing similar with the MKRNB1500 as the modem is turned off. I will do a quick measurement tomorrow and let you know the results

RE: More messages than expected on application server.
Well I still have double messages however I think thats because I use deep sleep and do atpwroff to turn of the sara module.

RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Crowdsourcer Ok I did the changes assuggested, and until now no long extra messages… but I just checked the logs from yesterday and the day before and it didnt occur the last 1,5 days either (I think I reregistered the application server then.
Anaway thanks again for the suggestion! -
RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Crowdsourcer Thanks, I will try it and will let you know the results! Do you also use downlinks and do they arrive on the device?

RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Crowdsourcer It could be but I receive all messages I expect + someimes an extra message of length >200 bytes 1,5 minute later, my structure is:
typedef struct attribute ((packed)) message {
uint8_t l1;
uint8_t l2;
uint8_t l3;
uint8_t n1;
uint8_t n2;
uint8_t n3;
uint8_t x1;
uint8_t x2;
uint8_t m;
uint8_t v;
uint8_t y;
uint8_t z;
}Message;Message msg;
which I send as:
Udp.write((uint8_t*)&msg, 12); -
RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Crowdsourcer What is your interval I am senden every 30mins and see no loss Only more messages. But dont receive downlink does downlink work for you?
-
RE: More messages than expected on application server.
@Stefan-de-Lange I dont see packet loss I receive more messages than I should! I can ignore them because they are a different size than my messages but it seems strange that more mossages are coming in than send by the device. Could it have something to do with the fact that I dont receive downlink messages anymore?
Also I am using community atm for testing so coap is not an option I think? -

@Stefan-de-Lange sadly I only have this screenshot during update at the end it stated putting the sara in download mode then it counted link<0><1>…<15> then it beeped and said failed. I tried it several times but couldnt get it to finish correctly.

@Stefan-de-Lange I received the firmware update file from ublox and tried to flash it to the sara r410 on the mkrnb1500 with extra usb cable soldered to the tp1 - tp3 pins. but it didnt succeed (because you suggested that to @Crowdsourcer

Downlink
Is there an api call to check the status of a downlink message? At first the messages were delivered to the device but not anymore so if there is a way to check that would be nice!

More messages than expected on application server.
My device sends messages of 12 bytes via cdp server udp to the application server. This works fine however several times per day I get an extra message with a length of 201 bytes. I logged al message from the device but these messages are not sent by the device.

@Stefan-de-Lange @Crowdsourcer I did this yesterday (Tp1 & tp2 for d- en d+ and also solder bridge at tp3 for v_usb_det) and connected it. a new device was detected but Iand the flasher program connected made a backup of nvm but could not flash the sara. The 6 pins mentioned by @Crowdsourcer is a debug header :

RE: Arduino MKR NB1500: lukt niet om te verbinden.
@Stefan-de-Lange I dont have the upgrade yet but willupgrade as soon as I do!, in the meantime I read somewhere that It could work if you enable a sim pin. And that works!

@afzal_m
Thanks there is a ublox sara r410 onboard, I already contacted ublox but did not receive the update yet. I was hoping it could work without the update as @Stefan-de-Lange suggested above -
@Martijn-Kooijman To clarify whithout sim I can successfully send the following commands:
AT
ATI
AT+CFUN=0, with sim I doesnt respond even to AT -
AT+CGDCONT=1,“IP”,“cdp.iot.t-mobile.nl”
I tried this to connect my mkrnb1500 to the tmobile network, at first it seemed ok but now it looks like the sara card locks up when the sim card is inserted, is there a way to reset the settings?
