Sim: Vodafone Italy enabled for NB-IOT.

This is the procedure I follow:

This is the result:

As you can see it keep getting denied.
If I put the sim in a phone it works with the apn “m2m.vodafone.it” so I don’t know what to try.

from this comparison document I understand BC66 is a NB-IoT Cat NB1 device. Is NB1 supported by your provider? (I had the situation in Switzerland that the provider only supported Cat NB2.)

Also, are you sure about the band (e.g. 8)? Does that match the country you are in and the provider? See here.

Hi @uta, thanks for the tip. You’re right, I was using the wrong APN for the type of SIM I have. I have an easy connect SIM, and for that the APN should be just “iot.t-mobile.nl” it turns out (without the CDP bit). Now the UE attaches & registers to the network perfectly fine 😃

@HaraldNaumann maybe you’ve got some advice?

Before activating radio module Set APN with AT+QCGDEFCONT rather than **AT+CGDCONT Set frequency band explicity with AT+QBAND Configure first APN, fequency band and mobile operator ID before switching on automatic attachment
