@afzal_m Hello there, thank you for your answer, the problem has been solved. It was a funny problem though The multimeter’s scale was arranged for micro amperes so when it was trying to switch to radio module, the current of the module was not enough on the multimeter so it forced a reset by creating an impedance. When I switched the scaling parameter to milli amperes, the problem is fixed. To sum up there was not a problem just a scaling problem of the measurement tool. Thank you again.

Hi everyone, I am working on a Low Power NB IoT project and I am using BC 95-G NB IoT module. My project was working fine however today there was an error after I send the command AT+CFUN=1. After this command has been sent to the module, the module tries to reset itself in a strange way but it does not completely reset, it keeps going with the other commands. Because it doesnt give 1 to CFUN command it cant attach the network and ervery other command gives error due to this problem. Attached there are my screenshots.

At first, the module reboots which is normal(At+NRB) and then it gives OK to the first commands however after the CFUN command as you see it tries to reboot for a short period time and then gives reset security pin problem. After this, things get worse and it doesnt do anything but giving empty error messages. The problem is sim card? or what do you guys think the problem is? Could it be the hardware problem on my PCB, but it was working without any problem just a day ago.I’d be glad if you help. thank you. reboot_problem.png

For the final reply, the datas that are being sent to beeceptor are forwarded to the HTTP endpoint in Turkey. I entered the url of the server In Turkey to the proxy settings on my beeceptor page. So now the problem is handled. Thank you everyone.

@Stefan-de-Lange a friend of mine created a server in turkey so with the proxy setup in beeceptor I am forwarding that data to the server in turkey. Now I can see my datas on the dashboard. Thank you.

@afzal_m Hello again, I handled the situation so I can send data to the beeceptor page of mine but for example I am sending hex string of 26, however it just shows that new post have been arrived, i want to use my beeceptor page like a dashboard which just shows the data that has arrived. Can this be possible? Or do I have to write a script code to show the data like a dashboard? Thanks.

So in the portal, if I specify the udp port number and the ip address of the server in Turkey, can I send the data or the only option is to get access to the “easy connect” platform? I am new in NB IoT so I am trying to figure out the mechanism. Because in turkey, when I was using a turkish nb iot sim card I could just send the datas to any udp socket in the world. Thats why I got curious.

Hi there, I am using NB IoT sim card of T-Mobile from iotcreators.com. I am using Quectel BC 95-G module for sending datas. I need to send the datas to a udp socket in Turkey from the Netherlands(where I live), however my sim card does not offer open internet i guess so I dont see any data on the udp socket in Turkey. What can I do to open the internet access of my simcard, shall i configure anyhting or order any other spesific sim card? Because after sending the data, the quectel module gives me OK and 1 which means that the data is sent successfully but due to the lac of open internet I dont see the datas I guess. I’d be glad if you help me, I hope I revealed my situation well.

@Florian-Duecker I am using T-Mobile NB IoT sim card. I already sent you the ID of the sim card so you are suggesting me to order a new sim card from link you sent? I’ll check it.

Hello again, I think the problem starts from the beginning. It gives +CME ERROR: 50 as soon as I conenct the module and open the Qnavigator programme of Quectel. I think this error is about the pin on the sim card but should I define another AT command about the sim card pin? What do you recommend?

@Florian-Duecker Hello Florian thanks for the reply. I tried AT+CGDCONT=1,“IP”,“cdp.iot.t-mobile.nl” it responded OK. However AT+QCGDEFCONT=“IP”,“cdp.iot.t-mobile.nl” gives error. Still not connected to the line but maybe I need to configure PLMN ID and APN however don’t know how to include them in AT commands.

Secondly, my simcad’s IMSI number does not appear when I try to register its IMEI in the portal. I’d be glad if you help me with hese. Thank you.

@Stefan-de-Lange thanks for the reply. As it says in there I used the frequency band 8 and 20. For the other parameters like PLMN ID, I don’t know how to set them up. I’ve never mentioned them in my AT commands I guess.

I am using Quectel BC95-G NB-IoT module for sending UDP packets with T-Mobile sim card for a project. A month ago with the same AT commands, I was sending UDP messages from Turkey (with Turkish NB IoT sim card) successfully but now I am in Netherlands and can not attach the network. I am always getting 0 when I ask AT+CGATT? command. Still don’t know the reason. I tried every each frequency band(3,8 and 20 which are the suitable ones for EU). Could anyone help me with this situation? Thanks.
